Soon Ae remembers everything now, and thank Buddha she’s a ghost because he struggled to catch her transparent form. The true story is finally revealed. It turned out that on a night of patrol duty Choi sees his adoptive father. They don’t have the happiest reunion. His father’s speech pisses off Choi who then goes to kill him but for some reason he can’t bring himself to complete the act. Unfortunately on his way back he hits Eun Hee, although at first he seems genuinely worried, the evil spirit enters him and he just rides over her. Soon Ae witnesses and writes down the license in her diary. Since she is close with Choi she also calls him to report it and notices his license plate matches what she saw. Then the chase begins where we see her voicemail her father and Choi drowns her in the bath. My god that took a while and my god why!? Stupid evil spirit and its stupid bad timing, Eun Hee could’ve at least still had her legs!
It is revealed her grudge wasn’t a virgin one but a revenge grudge since she her life ended abruptly. Of course things don’t go so smoothly given that it’s the second to last episode. Whilst Bong Sun waits for Sun Woo, Choi pretty much jacks her in front of Soon Ae’s restaurant. Sun Woo informs Ahjumma and Soon Ae and they go on a hunt for her. Ahjumma tries helping but the only vision is a place filled with children. I love how Soon Ae even gets all her ghost mates to help hunt for her but coincidentally it turns out to be her ghost bestie that comes across Choi.
Eun Hee gets worried after Choi doesn’t pick up her call. Surprisingly she finds his suitcase of evidence and begins to get suspicious about why he seems to have gathered all those things. Trust me girl your husbands a little freaky. Sun Woo thankfully finds her and eases her mind so she doesn’t overstress herself. Awwh what a considerate brother.
Turns out Bong Sun is being kept at the orphanage where Choi used to be as a kid. It’s so weird how Choi shows two sides to him cause at the orphanage he seems like a genuine guy with the children and then you see him with Bong Sun as a psycho. But luck has it that a ghost boy is in the room so she manages to get him to slide over a phone so she quickly calls Sun Woo, however since she can’t talk she sends him a text saying rosemary which she smells at the place. Sun Woo ends up making the connection of the rosemary to an herb farm that is near an orphanage he saw on a letter in Choi’s drawer when he was stealing the diary.
I was right about the personal feeling the Choi has towards Eun Hee because this phone call sort of says it all.
But Bong Sun that courage tho! She ends up stabbing Choi in the side whilst he’s driving to slow him down since both Sun Woo and Soon Ae are chasing after him. After this Sun Woo picks up a crying Bong Sun and lets Soon Ae’s tag team finish the chase with Choi. I was scared for Ahjumma and Soon Ae when they go up the creepy, desolated building to look for Choi. I felt like he was going to come round the corner somewhere and kill them.
Looks like I was right about those personal feelings Choi has for Eun Hee. Whilst Ahjumma and Soon Ae try to fight off the evil spirit within Choi, he begins to get flashbacks. He begins to realise how both Soon Ae and Eun Hee believed he was a good person as well as their positive impacts in his life. I think he ends up fighting with the evil spirit inside him because he then legs it to the corner of the rooftop and falls off voluntarily. I guess he must of come to realization that he is a good person, since the evil spirit must’ve entered him because he already had psycho tendencies to begin with. But shit… he killed himself!
When Dong Chul finally got revenge for the other employees on Min Soo. Min Soo tries to impress his senior at the restaurant since Sun Woo is preoccupied he takes advantage and bosses them all around. Until of course his senior recognizes his own senior- Dong Chul. Min Soo you just got tolddddd…
