Sun Woo’s confession in the beginning of this episode… just my heart… oh my god (yes it’s a Jhope reference). Bong Sun on the other hand looked completely confused. To be honest the beginning of this episode confirmed my suspicions that Soon Ae has some feelings towards Sun Woo as she gets restless after their kiss. So I had a sly feeling that someone had to split by the end.
But despite Soon Ae’s feelings she still supports Bong Sun in a sisterly way which I love. I noticed this drama doesn’t have many bitchy moments and I have to admit though I love them it was refreshing to see the female leads supporting one another.
It’s always so weird seeing the transition from Bong Sun to Soon Ae. I have to admit Soon Ae is my favourite. She keeps following Sun Woo around and annoying him about doing something special since it’s their first day as a couple.
They do end up going out for a dinner date, albeit for other purposes, but Sun Woo begins to slowly fill his boyfriend role as he worries about Bong Sun’s attire attracting too much attention. Dude just appreciate her sexiness 😉
For Bong Sun on the other hand, all eyes were on the prize (if you know what I mean).
Things get heated however when Sun Woo complains about Bong Sun’s bluntness on the topic of sex and coming on too strong. She keeps denying it and lashes back at him for being too conservative and for having double standards for men and women. As she keeps shouting him he just ends up crawling into a cocoon and regretting that he ever said anything. Yeah Sun Woo how did you not see such a response…
Ok so I know I mentioned that when Officer Choi’s partner got knocked out they didn’t show the culprit so I just assumed it would have been him. So i did think in this episode that it may not have been him given how shocked he looked but I later backtracked from that thought when I saw him attempt to take off the oxygen mask. Thankfully Officer Han’s mother comes in and simultaneously he wakes up. Choi asks him whether he remembers who did it, he tells him no but then he notices that the watch on Choi’s hand is similar to the one of the culprits. I’m glad that Officer Han didn’t confront him about it because I feel like his evidence is going to become very useful soon.
I was so scared for Eun Hee when Officer Choi suggests they go out for an evening walk since just before his suggestion he slaps her hand away after she tries to bandage it. But lie last week he seems to have done this because she cursed the man who was responsible for Officer Han’s injuries. Fortunately he doesn’t end up pushing her off somewhere, instead we get a flashback into his past. As an adopted kid he received no attention from his parents as they were more concerned over their own blood son. He attempts to suffocate the younger brother until he gets caught and after that we witness him in many fights. Remember when Soon Ae and her friend talk about how evil spirits occupy criminals? That basically is what happens to Choi since we see his bad intentions earlier with his brother.
It’s also revealed that Officer Choi and Eun Hee met when she was suicidal at the hospital building. I still think Officer Choi had something to do with her accident so that’s why I found what he said to her at the hospital interesting; it was like he was trying to hint about something.
Soon Ae’s father hints to us that her death had something to do with falling off a bridge and into the water since he places an apple on the bridge in memory of her. His reminiscing gets interrupted however when Choi comes along and offers them a ride. Choi also begins his contemplations about who exactly Bong Sun is because he notices that she tied Soon Ae’s fathers shoes the same way Soon Ae used to. NO stay away from Bong Sun, she’s too cute to die!
Ok I had two parts to this and since it all came near the end of the episode I’m just going to stick them all together. I seriously could not stop cracking up near the end of this episode. So it turns out it’s Min Soo’s birthday and despite his hints the employees all realise too late so they attempt to act as if they don’t know. Min Soo however goes bitch mode forcing them to bring out a cake and use a fake leather as a present. Sometimes I feel so bad for Min Soo sometimes because he has NO RATINGS from his friends. It’s ok Min Soo I will call you Oppa 😉
Sun Woo also gifts him with his card to go out for drinks and when they offer him to come out of politeness Bong Sun straight tells him that he’s too conservative for such events. Yup Sun Woo that’s what you get for misunderstanding a girl’s intentions.
They all got absolutely hammered as was illustrated by Min Soo’s crane reenactment and Bong Sun’s drunken whispering to a motorbike. Yup hammered. But I really liked the bonding moment that both Seo Joon and Bong Sun have. It felt like he was her older brother when he gave her advice on her relationship.
My second favourite moment was between Bong Sun and Sun Woo. So he keeps track of her and gets restless that she’s still out drinking past midnight. But then he gets a text saying she’s at a motel and literally legs it to find all of them passed out in a motel room together. He ends up taking her out of there and screwing her for not thinking. But why this was my favourite part was because of the mini romantic moment they have together. It was just perfect and I loved that Sun Woo’s love is portrayed as innocent in comparison to Bong Sun’s (or shall I say Soon Ae’s).
