I love love love the way this episode opened because I think I’m starting to like Bong Sun more and more. Once Bong Sun gives Soon Ae permission her face and mood lights up like a firecracker. She shows Bong Sun her family as and explains to her how her past life was, adding in also that she regrets not having lived her life during those times. Soon Ae asks Bong Sun the pending question of why all of sudden Bong Sun wanted to act on her love. Yes Bong Sun that’s the spirit- I wish I could do the same for Jimin from BTS TT_TT
But it was just so heart-warming to see them both suddenly become close sisters and friends when Soon Ae begins to coach her on becoming more confident. I’m definitely looking forward to more scenes like this.
Sun Woo notices Bong Sun’s change in personality again and he just looks like he doesn’t know what to do with himself. Boy you better by some A grade titanium armor if you want to be safe.
So Hyung and Sun Woo finally decide to meet after their awkward kiss scene however instead of actually talking about what happened, they both decide to avoid the topic altogether. Simultaneously Bong Sun visits her father, despite being ignored previously Soon Ae’s father welcomes her warmly but I can’t say the same for Kyung Mo. He’s just in too deep with his feelings now. I mean when Bong Sun mentions the MT he gets EXTREMELY protective.
So there was two main highlights of this episode, first the MT (or team building trip) and secondly Officer Choi. The trip was Min Soo’s brilliant idea since his girlfriend is unavailable and the other employee’s straight reject to spend their holiday off with him. Soon Ae gives a run down of the trip to Bong Sun afterwards and tells her how this is the perfect opportunity for them to plan their attack before So Hyung pounces on Sun Woo. Bong Sun AGAIN you surprise me with your shocking enthusiasm, I’m really starting to like the effect Soon Ae is having on her!
As per their plan she follows Sun Woo when he goes to get alcohol and surprises him with her sudden skill of riding the bike since the real Bong Sun can’t ride for sh**.
It was sad when ‘Soon Ae’ began to talk about her dreams to Sun Woo telling him it’s too late for her to fulfill them, because obviously she doesn’t exist anymore. He tells her that nothing is ever too late in life. However ‘Soon Ae’s’ sexual frustration interrupts the nice moment once again. Regrettably So Hyung turns up coincidentally and the way Bong Sun just subtlety takes the piss out of her.
But karma always hits back:
They both literally compete to have some alone time with Sun Woo. When they end up sharing a room they try to stay awake so they can carry out their ‘deeds’ but sadly for So Hyung she knocks out first leaving the opportunity wide open for Bong Sun.
But alas her opportunity goes nowhere as the daughter of the lodge owners goes missing. The daughter basically has the same ability to see ghosts so she goes missing on purpose to lure Bong Sun into a massive refrigerator and locks her in there. Peak times right? Soon Ae does, by coming out of Bong Sun, attempt to open the lock but fails since its too heavy for her to try so instead she uses the firecrackers she bought (and got told off for buying) with Sun Woo earlier. Sun Woo seeing it going off legs it in that direction as he realises the sign. But I think it was his reaction when he finds her that had everyone shocked. Sun Woo are you beginning to develop some feelings now? I feel like Seo Joon thinks so. He even gives her a piggyback ride dismissing Seo Joon’s request to.
Ok this episode confirms to me that Officer Choi had something to do with Eun Hee and Soon Ae’s current situations. First of all we catch him and Sun Woo having drinks together and whilst chatting Sun Woo questions him on whether they have found any witnesses from Eun Hee’s accident. This guy knows how to play the game well because instead he plays the innocent, caring husband card.
Before Officer Choi takes Eun Hee to see her friends they bump into ahjumma who’s Hye Young’s drinking friend for the night. Ahjumma’s reaction to seeing him face to face just tells us all that there’s some sort of evil in him.
Not gonna lie Eun Hee but your friends really do not have manners. Why would you bring up how amazing she would have been for a ballet role when you can clearly see she lost her ability to dance at dinner? Just why? Anyway this is the moment I confirm my suspicions with Officer Choi. One of her friends, whilst chatting about the incident, states that whoever did it was a stupid fool. As soon as she says this he leaves the table and to go and scratch that friend’s car.
If that didn’t confirm it then this will. Choi’s partner tells him about an early birthday present he’s going to get him, which was the CCTV from the night of Eun Hee’s incident that he got specially recovered. Although I’m not sure if it was him, since they don’t actually show the face, but I’m going to assume that it was Officer Choi who ends up knocking out his partners whilst destroying the tape.
The ending made me speculate. So accidentally Bong Sun gets Sun Woo and herself wet after their cooking lesson. They begin to dry themselves down and Sun Woo beckons her to come closer to him so he can help her. I realise this sounds like a porno but bear with me. Whilst drying her down he looks at her intensely for a while, I’m assuming because of the prior conversation he had with So Hyung. As she realises him staring for a while she begins to look confused and then he just grabs her and kisses her. It’s getting hawt in here so take… let me stop myself. BUT you then see Soon Ae forcing herself out of Bong Sun; at first I thought it was because she wanted to let Bong Sun feel for herself but Soon Ae’s face doesn’t seem to show that. Instead it looks like she’s scared.
Hye Young and Ahjumma are just so cute. Because ahjumma rejected Hye young’s offer for food, she instead brings her food because she feels lonely and wants her to get better ASAP so they can have fun. It’s what Hye Young says about friends over men that I picked as my favourite. The times I’ve seen some people totally dismiss their friends over a boy, I mean understand that you basically have a new best friend to lean on now but at the same time friends shouldn’t be neglected. I’m not even looking for a guy in my life; I just want a good set of friends that I can always count on in life.
I didn’t have a favourite moment per say, more like favourite character in this episode. Seo Joon drunk or sober is just and amazing sight to see.
He’s an excellent cook since it was clearly obvious that in their little cooking competition Seo Joon’s dish was way better than Min Soo’s. Unfortunately since Sun Woo noticed Bong Sun’s enthusiastic cheering for him he chooses Min Soo instead. See he even gets a cocky guy like Sun Woo jealous!
And when he’s drunk he has no chill:
BTW did anyone catch them singing loser by BIGBANG? I’m a massive VIP so I was fangirling of course.
