Okay, before I even begin can we first have a minute of appreciation for the amount of times we saw Sun Woo without a shirt in this episode? Yes I was fangirling as usual, but honestly this drama has me hooked. The episodes just keep getting better and better.
Following from the end of the last episode, Bong Sun gets caught by Sun Woo and begs him for shelter. She uses pretty much every tactic; from aegyo to pity, but the stone cold Sun Woo refuses her lodging.
Instead she goes to the bathhouse and as per usual, checks out every male in her presence. However, we come across Soon Ae’s ghost friend from the first episode. It’s weird because originally I thought they did not get along but this episode shows a different side of their relationship. They seem to actually be much closer and supportive, like sisters. You sense the sisterly vibe from them when they complain together over how being a ghost sucks.
Soon Ae’s feelings for Officer Choi could not be anymore baiter in this episode. First of all, when munching on ramen together she asks him a ridiculous amount of questions about his marriage. Secondly once coming back to work she screws Eun Hee for hating ramen. Personally I think she went a little too far but then again this is Soon Ae were talking about. Oh also it turns out Eun Hee used to be a ballerina- not to be stereotypical but that explains her petite and elegant character.
The way Min Soo was hanging did not look pretty but he seemed like he regretted telling Bong Sun to call him oppa. Bong Sun begins to sense the more-than-friends feelings from Sun Woo when they meet with So Hyung. I couldn’t stop cracking up over Sun Woo’s reflexes. To be honest I probably would have given the same looks..
Her opportunity to milk his feelings comes when she catches Sun Woo hiding the colleague’s car key. While waiting for So Hyung at the restraunt she leaps on him to grab the key and teases him that she will tell So Hyung about his behaviour. He gives in quick and allows her to lodge at the restaurant. Ah what men will agree to for a gorgeous women… well Park Jung Ah is pretty sexy.
Bong Sun seems ridiculously interested in everyone’s love stories. First Officer Choi and now Sun Woo. She asks how he met her and advises him to catch her while he can; he just dismisses her. Bong Sun not understanding boundaries, begins to utilise the kitchen for dinner. But I found it sweet that she was considerate enough to ask him if he wanted any, although he ends up giving it to his canine friend. I wonder if he can’t eat rice because of his past? He really needs to give the dog a name. We also catch a foreshadowing moment when Bong Sun has a nightmare of Soon Ae drowning in water; I feel like it was supposed to signify the 3yr deadline she has.
Bong Sun bumps into her father again and emotionally blackmails him for calling her burdensome last time. Kyung Mo who gets into another argument with Bong Sun interrupts their conversation. Kyung Mo as an addition to the drama I like, he’s just like a normal teenage boy but I find it sweet how under his tantrums he watches out for his father. But he does get a little too happy when he thinks it’s because of him that Bong Sun keeps being around them.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS! Sun Woo catches a cold and ends up in bed all day. So Hyung does call to offer porridge but it seems she can’t actually carry out her offer and he seems a little gutted by this. However Bong Sun, after much negotiation with herself, decides to take him some. When trying to wake him up, Sun Woo see’s So Hyung not Bong Sun and kisses her. \(^v^)/ Although at first she pushes away, but Bong Sun being Soon Ae, begins to lean in more until the dog barks and Sun Woo snaps out of it. Things get awkward as he starts shouting but Bong Sun is watching him in amazement as she now has officially recognised he’s the man with vitality.
So until the end she does not stop bothering him. She grabs onto him, butters him up, begs him and even sneaks into his bed. I love how his dog was his guardian from Bong Sun as he always barks whenever she tried sneaking in.
To escape Sun Woo surprises his family by sleeping there for the night. I appreciate that they made Soon Ae and Hye Young very similar in characters in relation to Sun Woo. His mother also would not let him sleep because she’s just fascinated and overwhelmed that he came home to sleep and tries acting like a nurturing mother.
Because of the kiss Bong Sun also gets a fever; she seems pissed that the fever wasn’t even worth just a kiss.
Earlier on Eun Hee gives off a nurturing vibe when she looks up baby photos. I believe she has been trying but hasn’t managed to get pregnant as of yet. So Hye Young goes to best friend ahjumma to perform a ritual to see if there is any problem. I was a little freaked out over what she told them about Officer Choi, but she did seem to withhold some information, which by the face she was making, didn’t seem pleasant.
Bong Sun’s last attempt to seduce Sun Woo fails and he she also is unable to give him an explanation for the favour so her tells her to get lost. You can tell just by looking at Bong Sun’s face that her fever is pretty bad.. The way the episode ended was pretty dope. Sun Woo struggles to take his charger out whilst Bong Sun also blurs between her and Soon Ae. As soon as he unplugs it Soon Ae comes out of Bong Sun. I mean I had to see this coming since she had to come out at one point to show Bong Sun’s reaction to recent events. But I was a little disappointed that she came out. See what I mean I don’t know who to root for! Soon Ae or Bong Sun?
Now that she has found the man of vitality, she literally would not let him go at all throughout the entire episode. At one point he goes to put on his shirt and she just would not let him and they both end up in bed with him pinned down by Bong Sun. I honestly could not take it, I was cracking up so bad!
