One of the most prominent features of Birth of a Beauty was the numerous bitch fights between the two main female protagonists. If you’ve already watched this drama you will know what I mean. Literally in every episode they come into contact and have some sort of ethical showdown and surprisingly a lot of their arguments have underlying lessons. Anyway I was more entertained by the shots fired by Sara (Sa Geum Ran). So let’s move on to the reminiscing shall we?
1 – Episode 6 – Telling The Enemy Exactly How It Is
At this point in the drama Sara and Tae Hee have embarked on the renewed revenge plan as well as wriggling their way into Kang Joon and Chae Yeon’s relationship. Here is where Sara firstly confronts Chae Yeon about her adulterous history and pretty much tells her straight up she’s going to make sure they divorce. This BAWSE moment pretty much leaves Chae Yeon shocked that her own cunning moves are being used against her.

2 – Episode 8 – Good Girl Gone Bad
This is one of my favourite fights between them. After the mind fuckery on Kang Joon pretty much knocking him out, Sara innocently acts angelic by taking care of him. Of course Sara pretty much verbally slaps Chae Yeon as she now looks like the incapable wife. Actually maybe not a slap, it’s probably more accurate to say dirty water.
3 – Episode 9 – Levels To This S***
Chae Yeon feeling full of confident after discovering Sara’s identity and hearing Kang Joon’s ironic love confession attempts to stand above Sara. However Sara reminds her that she’s on another level to her petty BS.
4 – Episode 10 – When The Enemy Just Needs To Give Up
I don’t know why Chae Yeon keeps bothering at this point. For some reason she believes that as she is family she has some sort of say in whom Tae Hee hangs with. Sara owns her by reinstating the fact that she’s nothing but a gold digger.

5 – Episode 12 – B**** Please!
Remember that moment when Sara eats the peanut dish despite having an allergy? Yes, that OWNAGE cannot be forgotten.
6 – Episode 14 – Do You Boo
Straight after the dance scene it wasn’t entirely shocking to see Chae Yeon start on Sara. But Sara came back with her incest insults and pointing out that she can’t even get her own s*** together. Someone bring some water for these burns!
7 – Episode 18 – Fake It Till You Don’t Make It
The epic moment about this scene was how Sara twisted Chae Yeon’s labelling of her against Chae Yeon. It’s a shame Chae Yeon doesn’t recognise that although Sara is physically fake, she is mentally fake and failed at hiding that.
8 – Episode 19 – You Can’t Hide Forever
I loved the scene where Sara, after having her press conference, has Kang Joon and Chae Yeon sitting on the edge of their seats. Without revealing their names, she plays her own mental games to show them whose boss.
9 – Episode 20 – OWNED & SHATTERED
I’m sure most would say this was the ultimate OWNAGE by Sara. She leaves Chae Yeon in anticipation and breaking a sweat over whether or not she will reveal her name. What else to do but to end her career there and then!
10 – Episode 21 – Teaching Lessons To The Enemy
And finally the moment where the enemy realises they’re not the s***. Sara forces Chae Yeon to recognise why she was not forgiven for being fake and pretty much proves that she is definitely on another level to her.
